Itinerary
DAY 1 : New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) – Darjeeling (70 km / 2 Hours 40 mins Drive Approximately)
Arrival at the NJP/Bagdogra. You will be warmly received by our representative who will then drive you to Gangtok (1437 m). Check in at the hotel. Get refreshed and relax for some time. In the evening, take a leisurely walk on the MG Marg, the main street of Gangtok. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
Day - 2 Full day Sightseeing in Darjeeling
Today we start early at around 4 a.m. with a journey to the Tiger Hill, which stands at an elevation of 2590 meters. This is your golden opportunity to witness a captivating sunrise unfold over Mt. Kanchenjunga, the world's third-highest peak. As you return, be sure to include a visit to the captivating Ghoom Monastery and the picturesque Batasia Loop, both steeped in history and surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.
Upon your return to the hotel, indulge in a satisfying breakfast before setting out on a day of exploration. Your itinerary unfolds with visits to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, and the Happy Valley tea garden, celebrated for its aromatic Darjeeling tea. Conclude your day with visits to the Japanese Temple and the Peace Pagoda, offering a serene and spiritual experience.
Day - 3 Day tour to Lamahatta, Tinchuley and Takdah
Explore Lamahatta, Tinchuley and Takdah on a captivating journey that unveils the beauty of valleys, tea gardens, hills, streams, and the rich flora and fauna of the Queen of Hills.
Kick start your day with a delightful breakfast. Your first stop is Takdah, renowned for its Himalayan orchids. Then, venture on to Tinchuley, a charming hillside village. Along the way, be mesmerized by the stunning valleys gracing the mountain slopes and the enchanting Peshoke Tea Gardens. Capture these scenic moments with photos and selfies.
Continuing your adventure, you'll reach Lamahatta, a place where you can bask in the splendid view of Kanchenjunga on sunny days. Take a leisurely stroll in the towering pine forest at Lamahatta Eco Park, and trek to the Sacred Water for a truly blessed experience. Don't forget to savor authentic Momo, Thukpa, or noodles to tantalize your taste buds. Return to Darjeeling in the evening at enjoy a blissful night.
Day - 4 Day trip to Mirik followed by departure
On day 4 of our Guwahati to Darjeeling tour after a delightful breakfast, embark on a trip to Mirik,a charming hill station perched at an elevation of 5100 ft (1761m). Mirik boasts captivating attractions, including a stunning lake, enveloped by lush forested hills and framed by the majestic backdrop of Mt. Kanchenjunga. The scenic drive to Mirik offers enchanting views, taking you through tea gardens like the Sourenee Tea Estate, and serene pine forests. In Mirik, indulge in horseback riding and a serene boat ride on the lake (with boating fees to be paid directly), creating lasting memories. Later stop at Pashupati market in Nepal border.
